Boat trip to a historical military base on Kongonsaari island
This boat trip of altogether 60 km takes you through the beautiful archipelago of Lake Pihlajavesi to rocky Kongonsaari island and its historical military base from the 1940s. You may take a walk of 400 meters to trenches and caves planned originally for machine gun strongpoints and military lodging premises.
