Autumn and the mushroom season is not yet over. This year’s last mushroom weekend concentrates on the species of late autumn and the secrets of mushroom preservation. The specialist of the weekend, Arja Hopsu-Neuvonen from the Martha Organization, is also known as the queen of mushroom pickles. Joining us on the weekend of course also the hostess of Hotel Punkaharju Saimi Hoyer.
Late autumn mushroom, with the lead of funnel chanterelle, will have the main focus on the mushroom hunting trips. Mushroom hunting season isn’t over in September. Instead it’s time to think about the future. During this weekend, you’ll get the best tips for the darkest period of mushroom hunting season. The highlight of the weekend is the one of a kind five course mushroom dinner made by chef Mikko Lahtinen.
